Full Job Description Role Overview:

The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time Observe residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms and administering medications for relief Report refusals or concerns promptly and complete narcotic counts as per policy Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms, adhering to infection control and safety standards Play a vital role in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and ensuring resident safety through attention to detail and compliance

Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma/GED and age 18+ Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certifications Strong documentation and communication skills Senior care experience preferred
