Job Overview:

Mosaic is seeking Certified Medication Aides (Med Aides) / Direct Support Professionals for a residential group-home setting providing 24-hour care for 6-8 individuals with intellectual disabilities . Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living skills and activities. Support individuals in achieving personal goals and living as independently as possible. Monitor residents' comfort, safety, medical, nutritional, and personal-care needs. Provide emotional support and advocacy. Assist with medication-related duties as required. Help with meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and other daily activities. Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Requirements Certified Med Aide / CT Med Aide required Active/current license or certification as applicable. Minimum 2 years of experience preferred/required per job order. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old. Valid U.S. driver's license where applicable. Comfortable working in a residential/group-home environment. Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and other physical activities. Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs independently and assist with transfers involving up to 50 lbs. Local Connecticut candidates preferred. Schedule Options 5×8-hour shifts with every other weekend

Weekend:

3×12-hour shifts — Friday, Saturday & Sunday Day, Evening, or Night shifts available

Pay:

$30.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
