We are seeking a dependable and compassionate medication technician to support residents in an assisted living and memory care environment during a 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. shift. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who values resident dignity, safety, and quality care, and who enjoys contributing to a supportive team atmosphere. Responsibilities Administer medications accurately and in accordance with facility policies, state regulations, and care plans. Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to the appropriate team members. Document medication administration, refusals, omissions, and related resident observations clearly and accurately. Support residents with daily routines while promoting independence, comfort, and respect. Assist with memory care needs by providing calm, patient, and person-centered support. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe medication area. Communicate effectively with nursing staff, care partners, and other team members to ensure continuity of care. Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures at all times. Qualifications Current certification or credential required for medication administration in assisted living and memory care settings. Experience in senior care, assisted living, memory care, or a related healthcare environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in a busy environment. Basic computer or electronic charting skills preferred.
