Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of ensuring optimal indoor comfort and air quality across commercial and residential settings. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems, utilizing your mechanical expertise and customer service skills to deliver exceptional service. Your technical proficiency combined with your proactive approach will help keep systems running smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the safety and comfort of our clients' environments. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics, mechanical systems, plumbing connections, and refrigeration components using hand tools and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Conduct routine inspections to ensure HVAC system performance aligns with safety standards and operational efficiency. Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, electrical wiring, and mechanical parts to restore system functionality. Assist in the installation of new HVAC equipment ensuring compliance with local codes and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs or maintenance procedures clearly and professionally to clients. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with construction experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair and installation. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans accurately. Familiarity with electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems, plumbing connections, building automation systems, and boiler operation. Proficiency in using hand tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling (EPA 608 certification). Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems maintenance and repair standards. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle if required.
