Your Opportunity We are seeking a Medication Technician whose primary responsibility is to assist with administration of scheduled medication, as well as, provide personalized care and services to our Residents. Key Responsibilities:
Follow the six rights of medication administration. Assist with medications for Residents according to their Medication Observation Record (MOR). Document clearly and accurately one Medication Observation Record (MOR) after the medication is taken, given, refused, held, discontinued, changed, disposed of, or returned. Maintain a neat, clean, organized medication cart/cabinet, and restock the cart/cabinet as needed Assist Residents in meeting their physical, emotional, spiritual, and medical needs to achieve and maintain their highest level of wellness. Explain to the Resident what medication is being given and why, prior to assisting with the medication. Observe the Resident for any adverse reaction to a medication and report it to the nurse or supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required:
Successful completion of a six (6) hour medication Technician training and two (2) hour continuous training annually. Possess a valid current CPR certification.
Experience:
