We are a dedicated family providing a very special service to our family of residents. We are currently looking for Caregivers/ Med Techs Caregiver Requirements- Caregiver experience is preferred
- Must have a valid form of Transportation
- Applicants must be able to pass a level 2 background screening Caregiver Responsibilities
- Assists and/or provides all aspects of personal care including bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair care, and shaving.
- Encourages clients to maintain independence.
- Assists and supports clients with ambulation and transfers as needed.
- Helps with specialized assistive devices; e.g. Hoyer lift, board, etc.
- Assists with prescribed exercises and rehabilitation.
- Prepares meals, planning and shopping for regular and specialized diets.
Med Tech Responsibilities Performance Expectations:
Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in regards to medication dosages and times of administration. Knowledge and understanding of laws of Right Resident, Right Time, Right Medication, Right Dose and Right Route or Administration Communicates needs regarding medication administration and reordering or resident medication. Coordinates medication needs with Director of Resident Services Communicates with Home Health Agency representatives and resident's physicians regarding ability of resident to self administer meds. Communicates needs regarding medication administration and reordering or resident meds. Responsible for communicating to Director of Resident Cares via 24 hour report log Dependable, punctual attendance without chronic tardiness Sensitivity, compassion and understanding to the needs, interests and ability of residents while performing job duties. Demonstrated understanding of Universal Precaution practice Honesty - Pleasant Attitude - Positive Speech practices.- Ability to organize duties and prioritize responsibilities
- Demonstrates professional behavior in all aspects of care of residents
- Maintains required continuing education as required
- Attends staff meetings with at least 80% attendance rate throughout one year
- Adheres to all HIPAA confidentiality regulations as required Med Tech Requirements
- Med Tech experience is preferred
- Must have a valid form of Transportation
- Applicants must be able to pass a level 2 background screening
