What You'll Do As a Medication Technician / Resident Care Assistant, you will play an important role in the daily lives of our residents by: Safely assisting with medication administration in accordance with Florida requirements and community policies Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other personal care needs Responding promptly and compassionately to resident needs Observing residents and communicating changes in condition to the appropriate team member Maintaining accurate medication and care documentation Supporting residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia Encouraging independence while providing the right level of assistance Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families Working together with nursing, dining, life enrichment, housekeeping, and leadership to provide an exceptional resident experience Helping maintain a clean, safe, positive, and welcoming environment Who We're Looking For We're looking for team members who are: Compassionate and resident-focused Dependable and punctual Positive and team-oriented Comfortable working in both Assisted Living and Memory Care Able to communicate professionally with residents, families, and coworkers Able to remain calm and compassionate in challenging situations Willing to jump in and help wherever needed Previous senior living, assisted living, memory care, CNA, home health, or caregiving experience is preferred. Medication Technician candidates must meet applicable Florida medication-assistance training and competency requirements for the position.
