In this role, you will be tasked with providing exceptional care to our residents. Previous experience in an assisted living facility, a flexible schedule, and previous experience assisting with the self-administration of medication are highly preferred. Duties Assist residents with the self-administration of medication in a timely, compassionate, and efficient manner in accordance with state regulations and company policies. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL's) as needed Keep and maintain accurate records in the Medication Observation Record (MOR) Communicate and interface with coworkers, residents, family members, vendors, and management personnel as needed to ensure best quality of care Assist residents with other tasks as needed e.g. laundry, light housekeeping, ambulation and/or moving to and from activities in the community etc. Reporting any concerns or change in resident condition to supervisor and/or nurse immediately Other duties as assigned Skills, Attributes, and Training Requirements Compassionate Caring Dedicated Team player The ability to exercise discretion and to maintain confidentiality Must enjoy working with and being around the senior population Florida 6 hour initial medication technician certification CPR certification The ability to read, write, and to communicate in English Must possess a flexible schedule and be willing to work various shifts as needed
