Overview We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented professional to support residents with daily living activities and assist with medication administration in a respectful, person-centered environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support as needed. Support medication administration according to established policies, procedures, and state regulations. Observe residents for changes in condition, behavior, or needs and report concerns promptly to the appropriate team member. Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to care, medications, and resident observations. Provide respectful support that encourages independence, comfort, and quality of life. Respond appropriately to resident requests and ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment. Communicate professionally with residents, families, and coworkers. Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in resident care, assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred. Medication technician certification or equivalent training preferred or required based on location. Knowledge of safe medication practices and basic personal care procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and routine care tasks as needed.
