6:00 AM
  • 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM
  • 10:00 PM, and 10:00 PM

We are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate Medication Technician to join our team at Barclay House of Carrollton . This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, resident-focused, and passionate about providing safe, respectful medication support while enhancing residents' quality of life. Why You'll Love Working With Us Competitive pay Excellent benefits package Supportive, team-oriented work environment A meaningful role where your attention and care directly impact resident health and safety Opportunities to grow within a rapidly expanding organization Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician Administer medications as prescribed while strictly following safety protocols and state regulations Maintain accurate medication records and medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards Monitor residents' vital signs and observe for changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly Assist with specialized care tasks such as tube feeding and catheter care when required Collaborate with nursing and wellness teams to support individualized care plans Provide compassionate support to residents and families, ensuring dignity and comfort Utilize EMR/EHR systems to document care and manage medication administration efficiently Participate in ongoing training related to medical terminology, anatomy, and caregiving best practices Support memory care programming and engagement for residents with Alzheimer's or dementia Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment at all times Requirements Education & Experience Current Medication Technician License issued by the state Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or similar healthcare settings preferred Knowledge of medication administration protocols and medical documentation practices Familiarity with senior care, hospice care, home care, or community care environments preferred Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, developmental disabilities, or special care needs is a plus Skills & Attributes Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and basic medical terminology Excellent communication and teamwork skills Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy Ability to work compassionately with residents and families Commitment to maintaining resident dignity and delivering high-quality care QSL Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer / Protected Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities.
