Job Description

Elm Crest Senior Living Community pays Medication Aides $14.75-$18.31/hour, based on experience, plus shift differential and holiday pay. Choose full-time evenings or PRN days and nights. Apply today and we'll respond within 48 hours. Elm Crest is a senior living community in Harlan, Iowa, offering assisted living, independent living, memory care, and rehab services. As a Medication Aide/Manager, you'll be a steady, familiar face for the residents you serve. What You'll Do Give residents their medications and limited topical treatments, under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director Help residents with daily activities based on their individual care plans Watch residents for changes in condition and report them to clinical staff Support residents' physical, emotional, and mental well-being Follow Iowa's medication management rules and Elm Crest's care policies
What You'll Need Required:
18 years of age or older Iowa Medication Manager Certification or Iowa Certified Medication Aide certification Able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
Preferred:
1 year of healthcare, assisted living, or long-term care experience (we'll train the right candidate who holds the required certification but has less experience) Experience giving medications in a senior living setting Pay and Benefits $14.75-$18.31/hour, credit given for experience Shift differential and holiday pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance 403(b) retirement plan with discretionary employer match Life and AD&D insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage Accident and critical illness insurance

2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., rotating weekends and holidays
