Medication Technician (Med Tech) - Assisted Living $14.75-$18.31/hour | Full-Time Nights Elm Crest Senior Living Community | American Baptist Homes of the Midwest Elm Crest Senior Living Community is hiring a Medication Technician (Med Tech) to provide safe, compassionate medication support and resident care within our assisted living community. This is a full-time evening position offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. Shift differential and holiday pay available What You'll Do Assist residents with medication administration and limited topical treatments under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director Provide quality resident care and support with activities of daily living according to individualized care plans Monitor residents and report changes in condition to appropriate clinical staff Promote residents' physical, emotional, and mental well-being Follow community policies, procedures, and safety standards Ensure compliance with state regulations and medication management requirements Support a positive, resident-centered environment that reflects the mission and values of Elm Crest Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Iowa Medication Manager Certification or Iowa Certified Medication Aide certification required Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team Dependable, compassionate, and resident-focused approach to care Preferred Qualifications One year of healthcare, assisted living, or long-term care experience preferred Experience administering medications in a senior living setting preferred Willing to train the right candidate with the required certification Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 403(b) Retirement Plan with Discretionary Employer Match Life & AD&D Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability Accident & Critical Illness Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Ready to Apply?
