Have the ability to grow within our organization. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assist with medication administration and patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents in our care facility. Your expertise will support individuals with diverse needs, including those with Alzheimer's, dementia, developmental disabilities, and mental health disabilities. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, respectful care that promotes independence and dignity for every individual. Duties Safely administer prescribed medications to residents following all regulatory guidelines and facility protocols Monitor and document patient responses to medication, vital signs, and overall health status using charts for each specific resident Requirements Valid certification as a Medication Aide with current licensure in the applicable state Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or community-based care environments Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance practices
Pay:
From $14.50 per hour
