Job Description

Qualified Medication Aides (QMAs) in Indiana are authorized to administer non-parenteral medications in long-term care settings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, following a physician's treatment plan. They are restricted from performing invasive procedures or assessments, and must adhere strictly to instructions provided by licensed healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures to promote safe and effective medication administration.
Requirements:
