Shift:
6AM-6PM Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team in Mulvane, KS. The CMA will be responsible for administering medications and providing support to residents to ensure their health, safety, and well-being in a comfortable and caring environment. Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications to residents according to established policies and procedures. Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report any concerns to nursing staff or physicians promptly. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records and documentation. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to promote resident well-being. Follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities. Qualifications Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of Kansas. Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of elderly residents. Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
