As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) on our Assisted Living 2nd Shift team, you are a dependable and compassionate caregiver who helps residents transition comfortably through their evening routines. You take pride in providing attentive care, administering medications accurately, and creating a safe and supportive environment for our residents. This part-time evening schedule is ideal for someone looking for consistent hours while making a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults. An Evening in the Life Assist residents with evening care needs and activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, toileting, and preparing for bedtime Set up, administer, and document medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed nurse Monitor vital signs and observe for changes in condition, promptly reporting concerns to nursing staff Respond to resident needs and calls with professionalism, compassion, and urgency Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents Complete accurate documentation and communicate important information to the oncoming shift Foster a respectful and supportive atmosphere for residents and coworkers alike

Qualifications License/Certification:

Must hold current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certifications in the state of Kansas Valid CPR certification required

Experience:

Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or another healthcare setting preferred

Skills:
