Certified Medication Tech Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. Administer medications under RN supervision in compliance with policy and regulations Document medication administration and reasons for non-administration in the MAR Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols during medication delivery Participate in audits and report adverse reactions to supervisors Maintain medication supplies and uphold HIPAA confidentiality standards Minimum Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent 1 year related experience in a medical environment preferred Must be certified a a Medication Technician in the state within which services are provided and have current CPR Certification.
