Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team. This is a part-time position, working 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, three days per week (21 hours/week) . In this role, you will accompany and support an individual in community-based activities, helping them stay active, engaged, and connected to their community while promoting independence and skill-building.and inclusive environment. Duties Accompany clients to community outings and activities (e.g., parks, YMCA, library, local events, shopping). Support clients in participating in skill-building and recreational activities of their choosing. Provide transportation to and from community activities as needed. Assist with mobility, personal safety, and any physical support needed while out in the community. Provide verbal cues, encouragement, and hands-on assistance as needed during outings. Monitor client well-being and safety throughout community engagement. Document activities, progress, and any incidents that occur during your shift. Qualifications Certified Medication Technician Female CPR/1st Aid certified Bloodborne Pathogens certification Previous experience in a group home, day program, or community support setting preferred but not required. Comfortable with physical activity and assisting clients with mobility challenges. Reliable transportation/valid driver's license (if transporting clients). Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. A compassionate, patient approach with a focus on community inclusion and client independence.
