Solomons Nursing and Rehab, a LTC facility located in Solomons, MD is currently in search of Certified Medicine Aides (CMAs), to join our amazing team! Solomons is actively trying to build strong & dedicated nursing teams at our Maryland skilled nursing facilities.Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED Must Hold a current Certified Medicine Aide, Certified Nursing Aide and, Geriatric Nursing Aide License in the state of Maryland Must have knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administrating simple treatments and providing related bedside resident-care services Covid VaccinatedPRIMARY PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB POSITION
The primary purpose of Certified Medicine Aide CMA is to pour and administer all routine prescription medications as directed by the resident's physician except for injections and narcotics. Maintain all record keeping and document all medication administration in the EMAR. You are also responsible for assisting in providing safety, comfort, and well-being of the resident.You must carry out assigned duties, in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established facility policies and procedures.
