Duties:
  • Administer medication to patients according to prescribed orders and protocols
  • Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
  • Document medication administration and patient responses accurately in electronic medical records systems such as PCC.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure proper medication management and patient safety
  • Provide support and care for patients with special needs
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols in an acute care setting
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as AHT
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documenting medication administration and patient responses
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members
