Job Description
This is a PRN CMA position that will potentially lead to a full time CMA position on day shift with a night shift available weekly. Please stop by the facility to apply or call Jennifer at 660-547-3322 to set up an interview.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
Requirements:
- Valid Medication Aide certification
- Experience in a healthcare or senior care setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices
- Ability to provide care for residents with various medical conditions, including dementia
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with nursing staff
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
