Our mission is to help residents live with dignity, comfort, and independence while receiving the care they need. We are currently seeking a dependable and compassionate Medication Technician Floater to join our team. Position Summary The Med Tech Floater is responsible for assisting residents with medication administration while supporting caregiving staff across multiple shifts or units as needed. This flexible role is ideal for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality care to seniors. Key Responsibilities Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and state regulations Document medication administration accurately and maintain medication records Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing or management staff Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) when needed Support CNA/PCA staff during busy shifts or call-outs Ensure medication carts, supplies, and documentation are organized and compliant Maintain a safe, respectful, and clean environment for residents Qualifications Current Medication Technician certification in North Carolina (or ability to obtain) CNA or PCA experience preferred Experience working in assisted living, senior care, or healthcare setting preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Compassionate, patient, and dependable Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays if needed What We Offer Supportive team environment in a small, community-based facility Flexible scheduling Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to apply through Indeed or submit a resume directly to Helping Hands Assisted Living & Memory Care in Goldsboro.
