Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to patients according to prescribed orders and protocols
• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
• Assist with the management and organization of medication supplies and inventory
• Document medication administration and patient responses accurately and timely
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living as needed

Requirements:

• Medical office experience preferred
• Phlebotomy skills are a plus
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Familiarity with hospice care practices
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as Epic
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
• Experience with tube feeding administration
• Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care settings is desirable
