Day, Evening & Overnight Shifts Available Job Overview Haven Home Care Services LLC is seeking dependable and compassionate Medication Technicians to join our team in a facility setting. The ideal candidate is attentive, reliable, and committed to providing safe and compassionate care to residents. As a staffing agency, we offer shifts based on facility needs and available assignments. This is a great opportunity for Medication Technicians looking for flexible work and the ability to pick up available shifts that fit their schedule. Medication Technicians will be responsible for medication administration and documentation while working alongside HHAs and other facility staff to support the overall care and well-being of residents. Available Shifts 7:00 AM
  • 3:00 PM 3:00 PM
  • 11:00 PM 11:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM All shifts are 8 hours.
Responsibilities Administer medications according to physician orders and facility procedures Accurately document medication administration Maintain medication records and follow proper medication protocols Monitor residents and report changes or concerns to appropriate nursing staff Work alongside HHAs and assist with resident care when an extra hand is needed Assist with resident safety, comfort, mobility, and other care needs as appropriate Communicate effectively with residents and facility staff Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment Follow infection-control, safety, and confidentiality requirements Qualifications Current Medication Technician/Medication Aide certification as required in New Jersey Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or another facility setting is preferred Comfortable assisting with resident care when needed Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to work well as part of a care team Must meet all required background check and onboarding requirements Valid means of transportation What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes medication safety seriously while also understanding the importance of teamwork in a facility setting. Our Medication Technicians work closely with HHAs and other staff and help with resident care when additional support is needed.
