Medication Aide- Part Time

Pay Range:

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

Job Overview:

Responsible for providing quality care and services to all resident and their families.

Provide assistance of medication administration for resident according to their careplan and physician's orders.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication toresidents and maintain related medical records under the delegation of the RNincluding supervision of the LPN.
• Completes required annual medication training, per state requirements.
• Completes company required medication training modules.
• Provide resident care to ensure care needs are met according to the resident'scare plan.
• Maintain medical records and written documentation assuring accuracy,completeness and compliance with federal and state regulations, certificationstandards, legal and ethical standards.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity in the delivery of services to residents
• Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled.
• Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well ascommunity policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned, including care tasks/assignments as needed anddelegated.

Qualifications:

• Must have a current NJ state CMA required certification and valid NJ HHA orCNA Certification.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience working with seniors in Assisted Living,Home Health, Hospital, or Long-Term Care environment preferred
