Job Description

Overview Join our privately owned company as a Certified Medication Technician, where your expertise will directly impact the well-being and quality of life for adults living with mental health conditions in semi independent living situations. In this vital role, you will administer medications, monitor patient health, and provide compassionate personal care. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations while fostering a safe, respectful environment for residents. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your caregiving skills in a dynamic and rewarding setting with a company that prioritizes our employees. Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely in accordance with state healthcare regulations and facility policies Assist residents with independent living skills. No bathing, feeding, or client laundry. Maintain thorough medical documentation, including medication logs, care plans, and incident reports while respecting patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Communicate effectively with service coordinators, physicians, families, and other caregivers to coordinate care plans and report any changes in residents' health status Qualifications Valid certification as a Medication Technician recognized by the State of Nevada. Financial assistance may be provided for well qualified employees. Prior assisted living experience or nursing home experience preferred; hospital or home care experience is a plus Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior care best practices Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illness preferred. Certifications in CPR and First Aid; additional training in Group Homes or Community Based Living is advantageous Ability to transport clients to appointments is required. All applicants must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance is required. We are currently looking for dependable, part time employees for the following locations: North Las Vegas near Rainbow and Cheyenne - weekend morning (7-9am) and weekend evenings (6-9pm) East Las Vegas near Lake Mead and Hollywood - weekday and weekend evenings (7-9pm) and weekend mornings (7-9am)
