Full Job Description Job Description PURPOSE:
Assist residents to manage and administer their OWN medications through
MED REMINDER PROGRAM.
Assist residents to document the administration times of their medications using company technology platform to monitor compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To ensure all residents take their medications daily and report non-compliant residents. To document and receive medications from the Pharmacy and properly store medications. Properly upload all medications on resident's profile in an accurate manner. Assist residents in obtaining new and refill prescriptions. Medication management thru med reminders following Company's policies and procedures. Daily wellness observations and documentations of side effect complaints. Communicates clearly with residents, families, case management, and Housing Director regarding concerns, issues, errors, and non-compliance. Orders, receives, and inventories supplies and medications. Ensure supplies are always available. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the med room. Reports concerns about residents to appropriate supervisors. Assist housing team in performing daily breathalyzers and random drug tests. Group Home
REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 12 months experience administering medications preferred but not required. Proficient communication in verbal and written English. Good organizational and documentation skills Good telephone skills Must pass background check and drug test. Basic First Aid training preferred but not required. Computer proficient. Excel and Word programs.
PREFERENCES
One year experience as a med tech in a long term care facility, sober living, or transitional housing. Bilingual Behavioral health experience
