Job Description

Adult Home Facility in Far Rockaway is looking for an experienced part time Med Tech. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Med Tech to join our team/ The ideal candidate will have experience in medication administration, be comfortable working with seniors and individuals with disabilities, and be able to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities:
Administer medication to residents according to their care plans Monitor and document residents' prescriptions renewal Maintain accurate records of medications administered Communicate with healthcare providers as needed Assist with daily living activities as needed Provide emotional support to residents
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a certified medication technician program Current certification as a med tech in the state of NY Minimum of 1 year of experience as a med tech in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility Knowledge of medication administration and infection control protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment We offer opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
