Certified Medication Aide Available Shifts:
2:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.
Tuesday Anticipated Pay:
$18.00- 22.00/hour

- Safely administer prescribed medications, including oral medications and, when trained and authorized, subcutaneous insulin, in accordance with physician orders and community policy
- Assist residents with medication administration while monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions
- Accurately document medication administration, including PRN use, effectiveness, and any follow-up interventions
- Obtain and record vital signs as needed to assess resident response to medications
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records under appropriate supervision
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests, supporting overall care needs
- Foster a respectful, compassionate environment for residents, families, and team members Minimum Qualifications
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the state of Ohio
- Previous experience as a CNA, Nurse Aide, or Medication Aide
- Resident-centered approach with awareness and sensitivity to individual needs and abilities
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of electronic charting systems and basic computer applications
- Dependability and ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and transferring residents
- Professional maturity and composure in a fast-paced care environment Preferred
