Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Tech (CMT) to join our award-winning team. This full-time role involves administering medications, supporting residents with daily activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a valid Med Tech certification from the Ohio Board of Nursing, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional resident care. Reporting to the Director of Resident Care, you will be an essential part of our team, enhancing the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare, assist, and document medication administration (oral, topical, injectable) as ordered by physicians Follow all labeling, safety, and community procedures Assist with medication charting and documentation of expired/discontinued medications Measure, record, and report residents' vital signs Ensure residents self-administer medications when appropriate Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting Follow residents' service plans and abide by health and safety regulations Respect Residents' Rights and report concerns promptly Maintain familiarity with emergency procedures and equipment

Experience and Education Requirements:
