In this role, you'll supervise the medication technician team, ensure resident care plans are followed, and maintain communication with medical professionals and families to provide consistent, high-quality care. What You'll Do Lead and support the medication technician team in delivering services according to resident care plans Administer medications following physician orders and Medication Administration Records (MAR) Verify daily documentation and track completion of resident care tasks Communicate with the team regarding resident needs and ensure consistent, high-quality service Participate in meal service, including serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room Supervise staff during shifts and support their development Maintain all required certifications, in-service training, and ongoing education Follow all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen Guidelines Ensure safe work practices and support team members in maintaining safety standards Assist with workplace injury investigations and return-to-work processes as needed Foster teamwork, take initiative, and positively impact coworkers, residents, and visitors Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Minimum one year of caregiving experience At least six months of supervisory experience in a health-related field Ability to read physician orders and accurately follow Medication Administration Records Understanding of medical terminology and basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) preferred Required state certifications for medication administration Must meet all health requirements, including TB clearance Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and resolve conflicts Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor Join Milestone to help residents receive safe, compassionate, and personalized care every day.
