A Medication Aide or Technician provides medication to patients in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities. This role provides one pathway into licensed nursing training. May help measure and record vital signs, and assist in activities of daily living (ADLS).

We are a locally owned residential care community committed to providing the kind of care you would want for your own parents. This position requires full scheduling flexibility. Applicants must be available to work any day of the week and either of the following shifts:
Day Shift:
7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Swing Shift:
2:45 p.m.-10:45 p.m. Compensation Starting compensation is $21.50 per hour when the attendance bonus is earned , consisting of: $20.00-per-hour base wage $1.50-per-hour attendance bonus for meeting attendance and punctuality requirements Responsibilities Safely administer medications according to physician orders and the medication administration record Accurately document medication administration and resident care Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition Communicate effectively with caregivers, supervisors, nurses, pharmacies, and healthcare providers Assist residents with personal care, transfers, repositioning, and other daily needs Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance Follow infection-control, medication-management, and resident-safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized medication room and medication cart Support coworkers and contribute to a respectful, team-oriented workplace Required Qualifications Open availability to work any day of the week Ability to work either day shift or swing shift , depending on scheduling needs Dependable personal transportation Excellent attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive throughout the shift Ability to remain calm, professional, and respectful under pressure Ability to work cooperatively without gossip, conflict, or workplace drama Ability to safely perform the essential physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to pass all required background checks Medication Technician or senior-care experience is preferred What We're Looking For The right candidate takes responsibility, shows up on time, works hard, and genuinely cares about residents.
