Duties Administer prescribed medications to residents accurately and safely in accordance with physician orders and facility policies Assist with resident personal care activities such as hygiene, mobility, and feeding, including tube feeding and catheter care Monitor residents' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to medications, reporting any concerns promptly to nursing staff Maintain detailed medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Cerner or similar platforms while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's by providing compassionate memory care and engaging activities tailored to their needs Follow all safety protocols related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and infection control procedures such as first aid and CPR certification standards Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive resident care aligned with state healthcare regulations and senior care best practices Experience Medication Technician Certfication Prior experience working in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior living facility operations Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring hospice or home care services is advantageous Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or EHR systems used in healthcare settings Proven ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Hands-on experience in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, tube feeding procedures, and dementia or memory care techniques Valid certification in first aid and CPR; active licensure or registration as required by the State Board of Nursing or relevant licensing body Join us in making a difference every day by providing compassionate medication management and resident-centered care.
