75/HR This position requires the employee to be cross trained in both the Medication Assistant and Resident Service Staff (RSS) roles. Employees are scheduled to work either the Medication Assistant or the RSS assignment during a shift, depending on staffing and resident care needs. Flexibility to work in either role is an essential part of this position. Responsibilities Depending on your assigned role, you may: Assist residents with administration of medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policies. Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility assistance. Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly. Respond to residents needs quickly and provide compassionate, respectful care. Assist with meal service and monitor residents' dining needs. Perform housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Complete required documentation accurately and communicate effectively during shift reports. Promote resident safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life. Exhibit a positive, and team-centered attitude at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Medication Administration certification required or willingness to obtain certification as required. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents with transfers and mobility. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Why Work at Graystone Manor?
