Full Job Description Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living for our personal care residents. We provide on-site job training and will also help with training and free certification if you'd like to pursue your MedTech certification. MedTech's are responsible for providing resident medications in addition to helping with care.
Essential Duties:
Answers Residents' call signal to determine Residents' needs. Assists residents with dressing as needed and assigned, so that resident will be dressed for season and time of day. Assists residents with ambulation as needed and assigned so that the resident can move safely through the building. Makes residents' beds, empty trash and pick up clutter. Assure resident hygiene by following bath schedule and providing baths and/or sponge baths at all other times as necessary to keep the resident clean and odor-free. Assists resident with toileting as needed and assigned so the resident will maintain good toileting habits and continence when possible. Assists residents with transferring as needed and assigned. Observes resident for change in condition and report unusual occurrence to supervisor. Other duties as assigned
