Certified Medication Aide- must be a licensed ceritified medication aide in Rhode Island
Available Shifts:
- Full-time, Part-time and per diem welcome to apply
Pay:
- Ranging $25-$28 per hour
- Shift differentials Join our medical team as a dedicated and skilled Certified Medication Aide, playing a crucial role in ensuring top-notch patient care at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer both prescription and non-prescription medications to patients as part of their daily care routine.
- Coordinate with various nurses to provide assistance in patient care and medication management.
- Adhere to written or verbal instructions on medication management, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Maintain records of medication dosages and administration times.
- Regularly observe patients, document changes in their condition, and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team.
- Collect samples for analysis as required.
- Ensure routine inspection and cleaning of equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient healthcare environment.
- Uphold all health and safety standards..
- Respond promptly to patient emergency call signals, bells, or intercom systems to identify patient needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or relevant qualification.
- Must be a certified medication aide.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within the healthcare team.
