Responsibilities Safely administer prescribed medications following all HIPAA and medical documentation protocols Monitor and record vital signs, medication effects, and patient responses accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems Assist residents with activities of daily living including mobility, hygiene, feeding (including tube feeding), and personal care Support individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory care needs through compassionate engagement and specialized techniques Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA Collaborate with nursing staff to update patient care plans and report any changes in condition promptly Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being in senior or hospice care settings Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration procedures Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation Ability to perform catheter care, tube feeding, vital signs measurement, and other clinical tasks confidently Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Excellent caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and effective communication abilities Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Join us to make a positive impact every day while advancing your career in healthcare!
