Position Summary As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily wellness and dignity of our senior residents. You will assist with personal cares and activities of daily living, administer medications, and help create a safe, nurturing environment where residents feel valued and supported. Key Responsibilities Medication Administration The CMA will accurately administer prescribed medications under the delegation and supervision of an RN or LPN, in accordance with state regulations, and according to the prescribing physician order It is the responsibility of the CMA to accurately document medication administration and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff The CMA will monitor and document medication effects or adverse reactions, and report to nursing The CMA will maintain proper storage, labeling, and inventory of medications Resident Support It is the duty of the CMA to assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including, but not exclusive to bathing, hygiene, and dressing The CMA may be responsible for assisting with light housekeeping such as laundry or changing linens The CMA will offer compassionate care and emotional support to residents and families It is the responsibility of the CMA to monitor resident well-being and promptly report changes in condition Safety & Compliance The CMA must follow infection control, safety, and facility emergency procedures and protocols The CMA will participate in staffing education that meets regulatory guidelines, as well as promotes quality care delivery It is the duty of the CMA to adhere to all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA The CMA will help provide a clean, supportive, and organized environment It is the responsibility of the CMA to report any incidents in compliance with state regulatory standards, as well as notify nursing staff when necessary It is the duty of the CMA to maintain certifications as required Team Collaboration The Certified Medication Aide will communicate effectively with nurses, caregivers, and other team members It is the responsibility of the CMA to participate in training, meetings, and care planning discussions as requested by the leadership team The CMA will support community events and resident engagement activities as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or equivalent certification per state requirements Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or caregiving preferred Compassionate, patient-focused approach Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 24.0 per week
