POSITION SUMMARY
Position Summary:
Provides quality care by performing tasks associated with medication administration, including patient vital signs, calculation of medication dosages, and stocking of the medication cart. Assists with providing a safe, comforting, and calm environment for the resident which includes observation and reporting of resident needs.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education High school graduate or GED Completion of a certified medication aide training course Minimum Experience One year nurse assisting or med aide experience preferred Required Registration/License/Certification Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
