We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Avir at John Jones in Burleson, TX. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and under the supervision of a licensed nurse Prepare, report, and record medications Conduct vital signs and observe patients' conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction Provide emotional support and empathy to patients and their families
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide in the state of Texas High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
