Responsibilities Administer medications within required timeframes. Verify resident identity and medication dosage prior to each pass. Document all medication administration promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR). Report medication refusals, errors, or adverse reactions to the Charge Nurse. Qualifications Active Texas Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification. Active Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Current CPR certification. Strong working knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR). Ability to manage medication passes efficiently under strict schedules. Clear, professional communication with nursing leadership. Must pass a criminal background check. Must be able to pass a drug screening. Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance.
