NOW HIRING MEDICATION AIDE FOR SPRING CREEK ASSISTED LIVING

Available shift: 3pm - 11pm; Pay starting at $16.00 per hour The Medication Aide performs a variety of resident care duties including administering medication, recording medication dosages and taking and recording vital signs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned. gives/delivers routine daily medications to residents, either prescription as prescribed or non-prescription, with RN delegation coordinates with medical professionals to assist with resident care and medications follows written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications records medication dosages and times observes residents and documents changes in their condition upholds all health and safety standards responds to all emergency signals to identify residents' needs reports any concerns or issues about residents to supervisor and/or appropriate parties ensures equipment is routinely inspected and cleaned takes and records vital signs with RN delegation

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 0-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee: is frequently required to sit and use hands to operate telephone, type and operate computer and mouse is frequently required to talk, hear, and bend and twist neck may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
