The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospitals, and possess a strong understanding of patient care and medication administration. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, particularly those with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory care needs. Responsibilities Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medications and report findings to nursing staff. Assist with vital signs monitoring and provide basic patient care as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure cleanliness and organization of medication storage areas. Engage with residents to promote a positive living environment while respecting their dignity and autonomy. Experience Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospital settings is preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and caregiving best practices. Experience working with individuals with dementia or in hospice care settings is advantageous.
