Waco, TX Job Details Full-time 15 hours ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Vision insurance Flexible schedule Life insurance Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary The Medication Technician (Med Tech) plays a vital role in supporting residents' health and well-being by safely administering medications and assisting with daily living activities. This position requires compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications accurately and timely according to physician orders and facility protocols Document medication administration in residents' records and maintain confidentiality Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff Maintain medication carts and storage areas in a clean, organized, and secure manner Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and mobility Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members Support shift transitions by providing thorough handoff reports Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies
