Chantilly Heights Memory Care located in Chantilly, Virginia is looking for caring, dependable team members to join us in providing exceptional support to our residents. Working in memory care is about more than completing a task or passing medication. It's about creating familiarity, building trust, and providing the patience and reassurance that can make all the difference in a resident's day. What You'll Do As a Medication Technician, you'll work closely with our nursing and care teams to support the health, safety, and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities include:
Safely administer medications according to physician orders, resident care plans, and applicable regulations Accurately document medication administration and maintain appropriate medication records Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition, behavior, or concerns to the appropriate team member Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care as needed Provide reassurance, redirection, and compassionate support to residents living with memory impairment Respond promptly and respectfully to resident needs Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the care team Follow medication management procedures, infection-control practices, and community safety standards Help create a calm, comfortable, and engaging environment for our residents Treat every resident with patience, dignity, and respect What We're Looking For Current Medication Aide/Medication Technician credentials as required by the Commonwealth of Virginia Previous senior living, assisted living, or memory care experience is preferred Current Opportunities ☀️ Day Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities available 🌙 Evening Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Part-Time opportunities available If you're looking for a position where your compassion and attention to detail are just as important as your skills, we'd love to meet you.
