• Medication History to join the team. This role will be full-time rotating evening shift; 7on; 7off
• Wednesdays
• Tuesdays; 12pm
• 10pm.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintains an adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies.

Accurately pre-packs medications and restocks code cart and stock kits.

Restocks assigned areas, put away unused medications in addition to utilizing want book and associated inventory management procedures.

Orders items, properly stocks shelves, processes returns and identifies vendor errors.

Accurately fills automated dispensing devices and unit dose pick, first doses and floor stock.

Assists Pharmacist in drug selection and counting medications accurately.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

High School or GED.

Experience:

One (1) year inpatient pharmacy experience.

Certification:

Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Virginia or a Pharmacy intern license. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.

Preferred Requirement:

Experience:

Medication History/ Patient education or counseling experience. Epic experience.
