63/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs. Overview Works under the supervision of Nursing Supervisor/Manager and is ultimately responsible to the Director of Assisted Living. CMT/CNA performs tasks essential to the direct care of the resident according to the facility policy and procedures, regulatory requirements defined by Department of Social Services for Assisted Living Facilities and Scope of Practice as defined by the Department of Social Services for Assisted Living Facilities and the Department of Health for SNFs and NFs. Responsibilities include, but is not limited to, medication administration, vitals, personal care, and nutrition support. What you will do Administers and documents the medications and treatments, according to the scheduled times, following the medication administration protocol Maintains confidentiality of resident and fellow employee's information Maintains the cleanliness, organization, and restocking of the Med room and Med cart Obtains accurate vital signs and weights Reports changes in behavior, activities of daily living or other signs/symptoms of change in condition to nursing leader and/or provider as appropriate. Acts within the scope of Certified Nursing Assistant and Registered Medication Aide in Assisted Living. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or other management staff Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred) Experience Less than 1 year (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications Certified Nurse Aid (CNA)
  • Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required) Medication Aide
  • Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required) and CPR/BLS Certification
  • American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required) First Aid
  • American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required) Food Handlers Card (FH)
  • VA State
