Job Description
Lincoln House is a non-profit, Residential Care Home near downtown Barre. The night shift involves getting residents ready for bed assisting in the mornings, and most importantly, being available throughout the wee hours to address various needs and concerns as they arise. There are 2 medication passes during the 12 hour shifts. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are night owl types, or otherwise benefit from a job with nontraditional hours. On the most peaceful shifts, there are large expanses of time that can be filled with helpful tasks or some down time snuggling with cats and doing rounds. Prior experience with the elderly is helpful but not required, we are happy to train! Training can take 2-6 weeks depending on the experience and needs of the applicant.
