$17.83-$21.83 an hour depending on years of experience Summary As a Resident Attendant you will be essential in providing compassionate care and support to residents in assisted living or nursing home settings. Reporting to the shift supervisor, your core responsibility will be assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring their comfort and safety. Your premium skills in Alzheimer's and dementia care, along with experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, will enhance the quality of life for our residents. Job Description The Resident Attendants will assist and/or prompt the residents at Vernon Hall Assisted Living facility residents with: Mealtime reminders Scheduled activities Medication assistance or management Oxygen use and equipment maintenance Incontinence care and toileting Ambulation, transfers and transports Feeding and cueing at mealtimes Transporting to appointments Making beds Assisting with showers Assisting with dressing/undressing a.m. & p.m. They are the "eyes and ears" of the nursing staff, reporting to the nurse in charge regarding the needs of the residents.
