In this vital role, you will assist with medication administration, provide personal care, and support individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or recovering from illness. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for all those under your care. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with older adults, especially individuals living with dementia or memory impairment, and will provide care with patience, dignity, and respect. Responsibilities Administer medications accurately in accordance with state regulations, facility policies, and physician orders. Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support for residents or patients Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assess health status Monitor residents for changes in condition, behavior, appetite, mobility, and overall well-being. Provide compassionate dementia and memory care using a calm and respectful approach Document medical records and care activities using electronic health record (eMAR) systems like Point Click Care with precision and confidentiality Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring dignity and comfort at all times Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and other members of the care team. Experience Prior experience as a caregiver, medication technician, CNA, or similar role preferred. Experience working with individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease strongly preferred. Background in caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia enhances your ability to deliver specialized support Knowledge of medical documentation practices and familiarity with EMAR systems such as Point Click Care Demonstrated ability to work within state guidelines and comply with all relevant regulations Proven caregiving skills including patient communication, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and emergency response procedures like first aid and CPR Join us in providing compassionate, professional care that enriches lives every day! Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
